Something deep inside is triggering my fight or flight response that I know to be anxiety. This feeling has been building through the day, as it often tends to do because today is Sunday. Sunday is still the weekend but when Sunday night anxiety settles in, my weekend comes to an abrupt end. This is my one, go-to remedy. That is when most people usually go back to school or work and they find it hard to get excited for the week ahead.

Here are some things you can do the day before to be ready for Monday:. Doing this will help you tremendously because you are already having a great start to the day having peace of mind knowing that you ready for the day! Doing a random act of kindness on Monday will for sure transform your day into being blah and boring to feeling so cheery and happy.
Helping or doing something nice for someone else automatically makes you feel good. Random acts of kindness are something you can incorporate every day, not just on Mondays. Trust me, if you do this, it will make your Monday so much better. That way when Monday morning comes you will be excited looking forward to your fun plans. Which is to get dressed up. Wear a nice outfit, do your hair and makeup.
If you look amazing on a Monday, there is no doubt that you will feel amazing! If you actually do the tips I suggested above, I have no doubt that it will help Mondays suck less.

I must say getting ready the night before and doing lovely things for myself on the Sunday really make a difference to how I approach Mondays. I love the idea of having date night or lunch with a friend on a Monday — definitely something to look forward to right away at the beginning of a week!

Janett, these tips are all great! I love the idea of planning something exciting. I think that doing this would actually help me look forward to Monday, instead of dreading it. One thing I recently started doing was exercising first thing in the morning. It gives me more energy to get through an otherwise difficult day.
